Renderings – Waterloo Bridges Project

Based on the results from our poll during the Feasibility Study for these bridges, we have added a “Winding Trails” theme to our black metal railing and concrete safety barrier between the sidewalks and the roadway.

The new wall style piers will resemble the piers on the existing bridge, with an additional limestone appearance similar to the limestone walls often found along the Cedar River.

The new Park Avenue bridge will feature color changing lights on the sidewalk side of the concrete barriers to add a flare of color to the bridge at night

There will also be nice, bright white lights on the black metal railing to add visibility to the sidewalk surface.

The overall look of the Park Avenue bridge will be an amazing addition to the downtown neighborhood.
