If you have seen the recent progress on the Park Avenue and 11^th Street bridges, you may have noticed the concrete piers have a special finish similar to the historic limestone walls along the Cedar River. The concrete formliner and sealer add an aesthetic touch to the concrete wall piers for both bridges. The shape of these wall piers has been designed to resemble to the old bridges that served the community for more than 80 years!
